Why the challenge?
The Alpen-Marathon "7 | 6 | 50" is a unique experience. An experience that you will never forget. Of course, it is also a small or big adventure. After all 2300 kilometres and at least 50 Alpine passes in 7 days.

In addition, the weather conditions vary greatly - the road conditions of the Alpine passes also Alpine passes vary from year to year, or from month to month. That is why we have the Alpen-Marathon as a challenge, which we naturally want to reward after reaching the finish line, rewarded - with tour stickers, a certificate and an entry (if desired) in the Hall of Fame.

1-7 tour days, destination: Monaco or Germany - you decide.
As time is always an important factor, we have built some flexibility into the challenge. into the Challenge. If you want to drive the entire tour, there are two different destinations: Monaco or Germany. Start: Austria.
If you have less time, or always have time, then you can also ride one or more several day tours. And afterwards you get the tour stickers and the certificate. You just have to prove that you were on the Alpine pass (photo, social media post ...)
What is the roadmap?
All Alpine passes are described in the roadmap. We have attached great importance to a detailed description in order to be able to assess the day tours well. There are also useful tips, hotel tips, Alpine maps with a QR code for downloading the GPS data and lots of pictures. can be downloaded, and lots of pictures.

The roadmap as a book or in PDF format?

It also comes with the "Best Buddy (with engraving)" for all Alpen-Marathon riders: a multi-function tool with 11 functions as a key ring. We send the book including the stickers (the certificate is given after completing the tour) in a dark blue cardboard box - so perhaps it is not only a roadmap but also an unusual gift idea.

INFO, TIPS AND KNOWLEDGE ABOUT A GREAT PASSION: TOURING THE ALPS -
FROM ENTERTAINMENT TO TOUR PLANNING:

Alpenpässe Poster
The Alpine Passes Poster: Basic knowledge for your home - informative, decorative and analogue
For our tour “7 days | 6 countries | 50 passes” we need a clear planning basis. But that doesn’t exist.
So we build ourselves an Alpine passes map.
It’s amazing how many Alpine passes we discover that we don’t even know and yet are in the immediate vicinity of the known routes. The result is our Alpine passes poster - the idea: maybe someone else besides us would like this decorative planning overview.
We are now in the 5th edition, with different designs.
Alpen-Marathon Tour buchen
7 days | 6 countries | 50 passes - an unforgettable journey from Carinthia to Monte Carlo
We don’t offer motorbike tours, but we have a partner who sees the Alpen-Marathon the way we do: Harry Pucher from Harrys Bike Tours in Carinthia.
He offers our motorbike tour in small groups several times a year (between June and September). You don’t have to worry about a thing and get to experience the most beautiful, highest and most interesting Alpine passes and Alpine gorges. If you want, you can even be surprised by the route every day.
Important: The daily tours are all within the range of around 300 to a maximum of 350 kilometres - rideable in around 6 hours. There is enough time to "see".
Alpenpässe
Alpine passes, Alpine routes, Alpine gravel roads: facts, info and videos from “A-Z”
We have now listed 450 Alpine passes, cul-de-sacs and gravel tracks, and the number is growing regularly. Because of course there are always new and unknown things to discover.
This information is either integrated into the interactive Alpine Passes Atlas for planning purposes, or can be called up as an overview from "A-z". The most important facts, descriptions and in many cases videos are available for all Alpine passes - and there are more and more of them. We’ve already filmed a lot, but haven’t had enough time to process the material into short clips.
Alpen Sehenswürdigkeiten
Places of interest (POls) in the Alps - in the interactive Alpine passes atlas or collected from “A-Z”
We want more than just motorcycling.
Inspired by the tips from the "local guides" for the TV reports, we collect further information on sights and tips.
Just stop, take a break, get to know a region better and take in the versatility of the Alps.
The POls are constantly being expanded - integrated for planning in the interactive Alpine passes atlas or as an overview from "A-Z".
Alpen Motohotels
Good moto-hotels that can be perfectly integrated into any tour
Due to our activities in the Alps, we have already seen several hotels and others have been recommended to us. We have also included these and integrated them into our digital Alpine passes atlas. In addition, there is an overview of the hotels by region, which are also displayed according to the Alpine passes visited. All hotels have a link to the hotel’s own websites and booking platforms.
Alpenpässe Atlas
The first digital, interactive Alpine pass atlas for creating Alpine tours
As a consequence of our work for the Alpine passes posters, and by popular demand, we have programmed this Alpine passes atlas.
Almost all of the known Alpine passes and shortcuts are integrated here. This allows you to put together a tour from Alpine pass to Alpine pass - you may discover new Alpine passes that you have not yet travelled and that have never been included in a tour before. We have also included all the start and end points of Alpine passes. To make an Alpine tour even more interesting, we have also added many sights - and of course selected hotels.
Put together your Alpine passes tour, add sights and hotels, send the tour to friends via a link and then download the GPS data ...
By the way: There are plenty of pictures, videos, facts and information about the Alpine passes and sights
Alpen-Marathon TV-Reportagen
The Alpen-Marathon becomes a TV series:
Reports on tours in various regions of the Alps - on television and in media libraries.
We are often asked: "If you are so often out and about in the Alps and have film equipment with you, why don’t you also produce reports?" That’s exactly what we’re doing now! With the support of regional tourism associations, local guides and volunteer guest motorbike riders, we learn a lot about the country, its people, culture, history, sights, cuisine and Alpine routes. We then use this information to produce 30-minute TV programmes.
There are two outliers: a visit to the Massif Central in the departments of Ardeche and Lozere - here, too, It’s high up - and a detour to West Pomerania - where, fortunately, It’s flat, as the routes consist of sand, earth, gravel and sometimes tarmac.
Alpen-Marathon Hall-Of-Fame
Accept the challenge and enter the “Hall of Fame”
When the challenge has been ridden - whether one tour day or all - and we have received the matching pictures, there will be an entry in the “Hall of Fame”. On express request, of course. The tour stickers and the certificate are of course always available after the challenge has been completed
